Cuban Cities & Paradise Island
6 Days / 5 Nights to discover the historic cities of Havana, the cuisine and music of Cuba the mountains and a beautiful beach resort.Day 1: Welcome to Havana
Personalized welcome at Havana airport and transfer by air-conditioned tour bus to hotel. Welcome Cocktail (Mojito). Luggage will be placed directly in your rooms. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight hotel. Tour Guide service.
Day 2: Havana
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure on foot to visit a cigar factory. Modern Havana by American cars from the 1950’s. Cuban lunch in El Patio Restaurant, located in Colonial Havana, at the Cathedral Square. Rally by Coco taxis – 2 persons per Coco taxi for a team competition to discover places in Havana ending at the Rum Museum with rum
tasting included. A gift of a bottle of rum will be given to every participant. Cocktail and snack at the bar of the Rum Museum: Mojito + ham, cheese, chorizo, olives. Return to the hotel. Later transfer by American cars to La Ferminia Restaurant (former bourgeois house of the 50’s) for dinner, in the garden, veranda or private lounge. Menu> bread,
pancakes, salads of fresh vegetables and parmesan, 7 different meats (Shish Kebab) served directly on (liver roller with bacon, mini-thigh of chicken, pork chops, beef chops and beef steaks (meat served at will), French fries, sauces, dessert ( pie or pastry). Return by American cars to the hotel. Overnight at hotel. Tour Guide service all day.
Day 3: Havana/Cienfuegos/Trinidad
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out of hotel and deposit luggage directly in the bus. Departure by bus to La Fiesta Campesina in Matanzas province. Stop along the way to appreciate the fauna and flora. Continue to Cienfuegos.
Lunch at Palacio del Valle Restaurant. This building dates from 1894. It is a mixture of architectural styles with a strong Moorish influence, with its ceilings amazingly decorated. Menu> soup, seasonal salad, 3 fish dishes including lobster, dessert. City tour of Cienfuegos and continue onto Trinidad and discover the city. Tasting of ‘La Canchanchara’ in the Canchanchara bar. Check-into Brisas Trinidad del Mar hotel * * * * all-inclusive beach resort.
Welcome cocktail in the lobby of the hotel. Dinner at the Ranchon. Overnight at the hotel. Tour Guide service all day.
Day 4: Trinidad
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Departure from hotel by truck toward the ‘El Cubano’ Park for the ‘Rambo Tour El Cubano’. It is located in the Guamuaya Mountain Range, also known as the Escambray and it is one of the summits of ‘Topes de Collantes’, an average altitude of 700m above sea level, it benefits from a micro climate, cool and humid and lush vegetation of bamboo, pines and eucalyptuses that has some therapeutic virtues. ‘El Cubano’ is located at an altitude of 250m above sea level. It is in this park that people stroll along the ‘Cimarrones of Javira’ trail, and discover the wilderness and the history of the slaves in Trinidad during the 19th century. The walk ends at the Javira at waterfall.
Creole lunch along the way. Menu> traditional black bean soup, salads in season, potatoes, pancakes - made of wheat and butter, white rice, fish filet , fresh fruit salad. Return to Trinidad for free afternoon: to be able to discover Trinidad, do some shopping. The participants will be dropped at the center of Trinidad by truck (a bus will come later at 16:30 to collect them) or take them directly to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel in the a la carte restaurant. 21:30: transfer by bus for the center of Trinidad. Evening show the ‘La Casa de la Trova’, located in the historical center of Trinidad. The show begins at 22:00 and finishes toward 01:00. Drinks: 1 La Canchanchara or 1 Mojito or 1 beer included. Return to hotel and overnight at hotel. Tour Guide service all day.
Day 5: Trinidad/Santa Clara/Cayo Santa Maria
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Departure by bus to Santa Clara and City tour. Stop at the Monument of the Armoured Train and at Che Guevara Memorial. Discover the small charming town of Remedios and welcome cocktail with lunch at the ‘Louvre’ Restaurant. Arrival in Cayo Santa Maria, and Sol Cayo Santa Maria Hotel or Melia Cayo Santa Maria Hotel – both all-inclusive beach resorts. Welcome drink will be served at the reception area while checking in. Dinner at the hotel. Menu> Salad in season , bread, butter, onion soup, Cuban style; fish stuffed with ham and shrimps, coconut pie. Evening entertainment at the hotel. Overnight at hotel. Tour Guide service all day.
Day 6: Cayo Santa Maria/Havana
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning to take advantage of the beach. Check-out of rooms. Lunch at the hotel. Menu> salads in season, bread and butter, Creole Ajiaco (vegetable soup with different meats), small rolls of pork and ham - Cuban style, plus walnut pie. Transfer by bus to the airport of Cayo Las Brujas. Departure by plane. Arrival to Havana
(Terminal 1). Transfer by bus from T1 to T3. Assistance through airport formalities. Outbound international flight. Tour Guide service all day.
